OUR MANDATE
The Finance and Investments Section oversees the financial management and regulatory compliance of the Agency. We aim to foster local business growth, assist small to medium-sized enterprises (SMMEs), and promote community engagement. Our services include Investment Promotion, Business Promotion, Business Retention, and Expansion.
SUB-SECTIONS
FINANCE
- Performs several functions, including budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, forecasting and analysis, treasury management, grants management, payroll and benefits administration, financial planning and strategy, and risk management.
- These functions ensure sound financial planning, reporting, and compliance within the Agency.
INVESTMENTS
- Engages with the informal economy and small enterprises to understand their needs and challenges;
- Develop initiatives and programs for informal businesses and small enterprises;
- Identify opportunities for expanding manufacturing activities within the Agency’s jurisdiction;
- Promote investment opportunities that support economic growth and infrastructure development.
